Mercy Health Foundation : “This year, Mercy Health Foundation is honored to partner with the newly formed Mercy NICU Circle for our annual Mother’s Day Lunch on Friday 9 May at Metropolis Events.
For the first time, we come together with this incredible group of parents who have lived through the unimaginable. They are parents of premature and sick babies who spent their first days and months of life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg.
The Mercy NICU Circle is made up of parents whose lives were forever changed by their experiences in the NICU. Each of them has a unique story of hope and resilience.
We are privileged to have Lauren, Maddie, Oliver and Sarah, as members of our Circle. Their experiences are deeply personal, yet they share a common bond of gratitude and a strong commitment to supporting families who are walking the same path.
Lauren shared the heartbreaking story of her twins, Scout and Finn, in our 2024 Tax Appeal.
Maddie created NICU Cheer a program bringing joy to families in the NICU.
Oliver has dedicated his time to fundraising for the Foundation, with his annual Kicktober challenge.
Sarah, her family and friends generously donated to the NICU in lieu of gifts for her son’s first birthday.
