To be in top 6 in the state for the leadership category out of hundreds of nominees felt so amazing. I didn’t win overall, but I was given a lovely pin & Finalist certificate & it was a beautiful day. Total bonus ran into an old work friend who I haven’t seen in ages, lovely to hug you Kellie.
Thanks to my hubby for giving up his actual birthday to be there & my gorgeous friend Michelle & Lillian for being my cheer squad. I’m a very lucky lady & so grateful to have been amongst giants in the volunteer space today.
